Music in itself is a ministry and one that touches our lives in different ways. You probably have fond childhood memories of music heard and hymns sung in church. Whether the message of a hymn or the reverent sound of a pipe organ stirs your soul, we will bring a joyful noise to our Lord and hope you will add your voice to ours.
The Choir is a part of most traditional worship services. Its role is to help lead worship and to enhance the service with praise and worship to our Lord in song.
There are no age or requirements nor auditions. Anyone who enjoys singing, has a little knowledge of music, and desires to sing with the group is encouraged simply to attend Wednesday evening rehearsals and commit to attendance whenever possible.
We’re flexible, understanding, and usually have fun. Rehearsals begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
Our Bell Choir rang in the season with melodies to delight us. No matter the season, their music is always a joy. The handbell choir works hard at perfecting their craft, and share their beautiful pieces at our church as well as churches in other communities. It's always amazing to see so many people work together in unison to create a cohesive melody that sounds as if it is one instrument, played by one person.
And that's the way our church works - many people working together to form a single body; a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Who says playing an instrument for church has to be boring? Make a joyful noise unto the Lord - or in the above case, to all the shoppers in the mall at Christmas-time. Our Trinity Jazz Band wails with the best of them and will keep your feet tapping as you hear the season's hippest jazz tunes, or energetic hymns any time of the year. If you play an instrument, contact us. If not, join us at one of our concerts and enjoy the music.
